a special place to stay
theater pod reclining bed movie nights solo traveller
this capsule hotel exceeded my expectations! i stayed in the theater pod all gender. the projector in the pod. i also appreciated the reclining bed and the privacy i felt, especially as a solo traveller.
The automatic blinds in the pod sometimes made a slight whirring sound. Though minor, it was occasionally noticeable at night.

The location provides easy access to nearby shops and restaurants. It is also conveniently located near sanjo station, providing quick transport links. it's within walking distance to gion, a wonderful historic area.

convenient location helpful staff scruffy lobby dusty shelves
the location was really convenient. there is a cafe just beside the building that served good breakfast and lunch (i especially liked the pastries). free beers were a bonus too. the staff were helpful.
the lobby area seemed scruffy, needing more attention. the communal area also needed updating. i noticed some scuffs on the walls that needed painting and some dust on the shelves (it made the area less inviting).

charging outlets luggage space
the capsule was modern with light switches and outlets. there is space under the bed for luggage.
The lounge area seemed a bit scruffy to me. It needed attention
